This year in the United States, over 21,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer, a disease often called the silent killer because symptoms can be so vague. Nearly 70% of women are diagnosed at an advanced stage. These women will face the fight of their lives. Join hundreds of women (and men!) of all ages in the 5th Annual Stiletto Sprint benefiting the Carolinas Ovarian Cancer Fund in support of Levine Cancer Institute. This event was inspired by an incredible group of ovarian cancer patients named the Teal Magnolias. One hundred percent of the net proceeds stay local to support research conducted by the cancer institute’s physicians to advance the treatment and early diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Funds also support patient education and community outreach programs.

8:55am: Survivor and Family Kick-Off Walk
All cancer survivors are invited to join us at the Start Line at 8:45am for the Survivor & Family Kick-Off Walk. Families of those who have lost a loved one to a GYN cancer are also invited to participate.
9am: Stiletto Sprint begins – Sprint schedule: Competitive Sprinters; Ruby Red Slipper Dash; Non-Competitive Sprinters; Finals
10am: Awards Ceremony - Awards (Top Finisher, Fundraising, and Special Costume)
- The Stiletto Sprint’s main purpose is to raise funds and awareness for ovarian cancer. Our event goal is to raise over $100,000 – we can do it with your help!
