The Venus Chapter of Charlotte of the Daughters of Penelope held its 21st Annual Queen of Hearts High Tea and celebration of fashion on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Carmel Country Club, to benefit the Carolinas Breast Cancer Fund at Carolinas HealthCare System’s Levine Cancer Institute.
As guests sipped tea and enjoyed a delightful buffet, the fashion show commenced. Etcetera, a women’s contemporary clothing design company sold by appointment only via private trunk shows across the country, presented their Spring 2017 collection full of vibrant tones and eclectic prints.
In addition to the Etcetera fashion show, Levine Cancer Institute’s Dr. Terry Sarantou spoke with attendees about the impact of their support.
Since 2007, the Venus Chapter of Charlotte of the Daughters of Penelope, an affiliate of the American Hellenic Education Progressive Association (AHEPA), has donated nearly $100,000 to Carolinas HealthCare System in support of breast cancer treatment, research, and education.
