The Carolinas’ Kickin’ It Challenge – Unite in the Fight Youth Soccer Tournament will debut at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C. on Mother’s Day Weekend 2014. The Carolinas Breast Cancer Fund, administered by Levine Cancer Institute, is a beneficiary of the event.
The 3rd Annual Miles Against Melanoma 5k Run/Walk (April 26) will raise awareness and funds for melanoma skin cancer research and education.
Over 250 guests gathered on 3/28/14 to make a difference in the fight against rare cancers. Over $80,000 was raised at the inaugural P Strong event.
To date, more than $27,000 has been raised through the Carolinas Garden of Hope and associated Brothers for Bill events to advance treatment and research of ALS through the Center.
Now in its fifth year, Catwalk for a Cause began as an idea by Martin Truex Jr., NASCAR Sprint Cup Driver of the Furniture Row #78, and long-time girlfriend, Sherry Pollex, to help raise funds for unmet financial needs of families with children being treated at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC. The inaugural event hosted 50 guests and raised close to $10,000.
Levine Children’s Hospital and the Cam Newton Foundation are teaming up for an unforgettable night of charity and celebration for our young people. Proceeds will raise funds for local children’s healthcare and education through the LCH Health and Wellness Fund, administered by Carolinas HealthCare Foundation on behalf of Cam Newton Foundation and Levine Children’s Hospital.
