Carolinas HealthCare Foundation partners with favorite local restaurants and retailers to bring HOPE to kids at Levine Children’s Hospital this holiday season!
With the help of Levine Children’s Hospital, Adam Tanksley courageously fought and won his battle with a rare form of kidney cancer. Donations to the Adam Faulk Tanksley Foundation benefit Carolinas HealthCare System’s Levine Children’s Hospital by funding pediatric cancer research trials that help our youngest patients as they fight to live healthy, normal lives.
On Tuesday, November 26, Carolinas HealthCare Foundation and Levine Children’s Hospital teamed up once again with CBS Radio’s Kiss 95.1 Team (Drex, Maney & Cassiday) to bring Christmas to the families who are celebrating the holiday in a hospital bed.
The Playing for Paula ladies’ tennis team (known as ‘Team One’ at Carmel Country Club) came out in full force on Wednesday, November 13 to support this year’s annual Playing for Paula tennis tournament. This year, the team raised over $10,000 to support the Paula Takacs Sarcoma Research Fund at Levine Cancer Institute.
The 5th annual GUTS Pumpkin Carving Competition, held on October 25 at the North Carolina Music Factory, raised over $26,000 to support Levine Children’s Hospital.
Over 150 runners sported their most comfortable sleepwear on Saturday, November 2 during the 3rd Annual Pajama Run. The event’s mission is to support “cancers below the waist.”
