This April, a group of 14 disabled, paralyzed, wounded, injured and able-bodied cyclists and volunteers, including military veterans, civilians and supporters, will participate in a 2,226-mile cycling journey from Lubec, Maine to Key West, Florida. This epic adventure from “Pines to Palms” will provide participants with the opportunity to ride into their next chapter of life, demonstrating that physical disabilities are not barriers. Over the course of 9 days (or 200+ hours), these courageous athletes will complete the ride of a lifetime to raise funds and awareness for the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program at Carolinas Rehabilitation.
